Port Canaveral Open for Business After Irma

Port Canaveral is up and running after Hurricane Irma. Cruise and cargo operations are full steam ahead and the majority of restaurants are open for business.

Jetty Park and the Malcolm Mclouth fishing pier sustained significant damage. In a Facebook post earlier today port officials announced that “Port Canaveral’s Engineering team has repairs underway at Jetty Park. Hoping to have Jetty Park campground and facilities (except Fishing Pier) reopened by next weekend. The Fishing Pier, unfortunately, will be closed until further notice.”

Public access to the Freddie Patrick Park boat ramps should be restored by late afternoon on Friday.

As always, we thank the public for their support. If you still are without power or water please come in to one of the many wonderful restaurants in the port and enjoy some cold AC and a nice hot meal.
