The 33rd Annual Chowder Cook-Off will take place in Cruise Terminal #1 on Friday, February 2, 2018. The annual event is presented by the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce Convention and Visitors Bureau. Attendees will be able to sample food tastings from several of the area’s most popular restaurants. Chef’s are encouraged to create a chowder dish as well as a “twist”. The “twist” can be anything from chicken wings to shrimp tacos.
Judges will award trophies for “Best Chowder”, “Best Twist” and “Judges Choice”. Event guests will be given tokens worth one vote each to vote for the “Crowd Favorite” chowder and twist. The event will also include live music, a cash bar, vendor booths and a very popular silent auction.
Tickets are on sale now at VisitCocoaBeach.com. General Admission tickets are $25 in advance and $28 at the door. General Admission ticket holders gain entry at 6pm and are able to enjoy food tastings, live music and the cash bar.
VIP tickets are $40 in Advance and $50 at the door. VIP ticket holders gain entry an hour early at 5pm and can enjoy food tastings and live music. They also are invited to the VIP only after party at the Port’s newest restaurant, Rising Tide tap & table.
The Connoisseur ticket is $100. Connoisseur ticket holders gain entry an hour early at 5pm and have access to the Connoisseur Lounge. They are able to enjoy drink service, passed hors d’ouveres, food tastings, live music and entry into the VIP only after party at Rising Tide tap & table. They are also entered to win a 4-day 5-night Caribbean cruise.
