This fun run is limited to 500 Registrants.

FUN RUN
Welcome to the USS INDIANA COMMISSIONING 5K FUN RUN at Port Canaveral. THIS EVENT IS NOT TIMED.  Runners, walkers and joggers of all skill levels are welcome to participate.  Commemorative T-Shirt/Bib pickup starts at 6:00 a.m. event day.   After the event, stay and enjoy some H20, and snacks. Come out and support our sailors from the USS Indiana.

ENTRY COST – $30

Commemorative SHIRT & BIB PICK UP
Commemorative T-Shirt and BIB pickup will take place on event day at event site from 6:00 a.m. to 6:50 am

There will be day event registrations available based upon capacity.

DAY OF EVENT SCHEDULE
6:00 am – Commemorative T-Shirt/Bib Pickup Opens
7:00 am – Fun Run/Walk Start

Commemorative T-SHIRTS/Finisher Medals
Commemorative T-Shirts/Finisher Medals are guaranteed for all pre-registered participants. T-Shirt sizes subject to availability

AWARDS
Only Commemorative Finisher Medals will be given.  There are no placement awards given.  This is an UNTIMED FUN RUN.

PARKING
Parking is available at designated areas within Port Canaveral.

TIMING & SCORING  
Fun Run/Walk WILL NOT BE TIMED.  BIBS are provided to ensure finishers receive medals.

QUICK FACTS 
When and where does the Fun Run/Walk take place?
Friday, September 28, 2018, The Fun Run/Walk course begins in front of Port Canaveral’s Exploration Tower and runs out to the Canaveral Locks and back.

How long is the course?    
The 5K is 3.1 miles.

How will I be timed?  
Fun Run/Walk will NOT be timed. There will be a clock at the finish line to view your time.

When and where do I pick up my registration materials?
Commemorative T-Shirt/Bib pickup starts at 6:00 am for all participants – All registered runners have a separate station where they can pick-up a Fun Run/Walk packet that will included a bib/chip and safety pins.

How will I receive my results?
NO results will be provided.

Who gets a T-shirt?
Only registered runners.

Can I participate in the event with my dog?  
Sorry, as much as we love our pets too, the safety of participants is our main concern. Therefore, we do not allow pets on the course, but service dogs are allowed.

Can I participate with a stroller? 
Yes, nurturing future generations of runners is a priority and demonstrating healthy lifestyles to our kids is special. Please, however, start in the later part of the runners.

Should I bring my own water? 
Yes, but there will also be 1 water station available on the course.

How do I register? 
You should register online, while day of event registration may be available, there is no guarantee of Commemorative T-shirts or finisher medals.

I will be out of town on Fun Run/Walk day and not able to participate. Can I get my money returned?
We appreciate your Fun Run/Walk registration. We are unable to issue refunds. We are not in a position to credit your credit card or issue checks.

Will the event be held if it’s raining? 
The fun run is a “rain or shine” event with the exception of lightening.  The event director will determine if it is safe to run. All participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather, such as in a rain coat or hat. Umbrellas can pose a safety hazard to others, so please do not bring them.

Can I transfer my entry to someone else?
We have a strict NO TRANSFER policy.
