SpaceX Falcon 9 CRS-9 July 18, 2016

The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket is launching from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station carrying the Dragon spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS). This is the ninth of fourteen resupply missions by SpaceX for NASA in support of NASA’s Commercial Resupply Services (CRS) program.  Dragon will deliver food and supplies, including station hardware, to the crew aboard the ISS. Among the supplies being delivered is the first of two international docking adapters designed to accommodate Boeing’s CST-100 Starliner and the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft to support NASA’s Commercial Crew Program. SpaceX will attempt to land the first stage of the Falcon 9 rocket at LZ1, the landing zone at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
