A stop on the Great Florida Birding Trail, Rodney S. Ketcham Park is the perfect location to see wildlife up close and enjoy a day by the water. Formerly known as Port’s End Park, this park in Port Canaveral is a great place for picnicking, fishing and an observation deck to get a good look at wildlife and ships in the harbor.

Rodney S. Ketcham Park’s amenities include a picnic pavilion, observation deck, river access, picnic table, fishing, boat ramp, benches, non-motorized boat launch and wildlife viewing.

Because this park is a stop on the Great Florida Birding Trail, people from all over the state come to see the unique wildlife.

Birds that have been seen at Rodney S. Ketcham Park include Brown Pelicans, Double-crested Cormorants, Great Blue Herons, Wood Storks, Ospreys, Snowy Egrets, Black Skimmers, Logger Shrikes, Anhingas, gulls and terns.

Bring your binoculars and camera to the park’s observation deck to get a good look at these birds.
