Did you know that the original Rusty’s Seafood & Oyster Bar opened in 1987? Its “parent” restaurant, Bernard Surf, opened in 1947, hosting star-studded guests and astronauts. The port location opened its doors in 1992 and has been a Port Canaveral favorite ever since. Food-centric show Dish Worth The Drive features Rusty’s in its latest web series.

The Space Coast staple was featured on Dish Worth the Drive: Southern Eats Edition, a web-series dedicated to the best food below the Mason-Dixon line. Well deserved, since Rusty’s has some of the best food and views on the Space Coast! World championship surfer CJ Hobgood discusses the area’s culture and the community that makes it so special with host Steak Shapiro over oysters and beer.
